American Heart Association Skills Station for e-Learning Heartsaver CPR AED

Audience:

Participants who have completed part one of the AHA-Heartsaver online e-learning program or the AHA-Heartsaver course. Customers must produce a printout of the part one course completion certificate. After completion, an AHA card will be awarded.

Classroom Time:

15 Minutes (If more time is needed then you will be charged an extra $35.00 per 30 mins)

This course is NOT designed for Healthcare Professionals or anybody working or planning to work in the medical area (e.g., nursing/medical students). If you have any questions or issues, please call 786-292-8CPR.

The skills portion must be completed at our office here at Pulsestart CPR & AED, Inc.

This is for parts 1 & 2;  You must bring your certificate with you to verify completion for part 1.

The Online Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills required for basic first aid, CPR, and AED use.

Individuals will learn about the following topics in this course:

  • The fundamentals of first aid
  • Medical Emergencies 
  • CPR for adults, children, and infants using a mask
  • Choking of an adult, child, or infant

Part 1: Online

Part 2: The student will demonstrate proficiency in providing Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED with skills.

This course is NOT designed for Healthcare Professionals or anybody working or planning to work in the medical area (e.g., nursing/medical students). If you have any questions or issues, please call 786-292-8CPR.

Course Overview 

The HeartCode® BLS/CPR course is a blended learning 2-step program that requires an online component and an in person skills practical. The online component of HeartCode® BLS/CPR uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills in the comfort of their own home. The in person skills practical consists of meeting with one of our AHA instructors either in a class, or at your home or office in order to demonstrate proper knowledge of adult, child, and infant basic life support skills.

 

How To Complete The Course

  1. Successfully complete the online portion
  2. Email certification to Sales@pulsestartnow.com
  3. Attend scheduled skills session
  4. If you wish to complete the skills session in your home or office, you must call Pulsestart CPR & AED to schedule (additional fees may apply)
  5. Receive your AHA BLS provider eCard

Please allow 3 hours to receive the course by e-mail.

To complete the AHA BLS Part 2 (Skills Testing) the student must demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS skills, including prioritizing chest compressions and integrating AED use. Upon successful completion of skills testing, students will receive an American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification card on the same day.

Skills testing will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

This course requires a Key Code and the Skills Practical.

The HeartCode® ACLS course is a blended learning 2-step program that requires an online component and an in person skills practical. The online component of HeartCode® ACLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students ACLS knowledge and skills in the comfort of their own home. This Adult CPR & AED certification course from the American Red Cross will prepare you to recognize and respond to a variety of breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults.

Not included in this course is first aid. Please enroll in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training if you require first aid.

This is a blended learning course consisting of an online course and a classroom skill session led by an instructor. The online component must be completed before attending the in-class component. After registration is complete, the confirmation email will contain the link to the online course.

Up to 1 hour and thirty minutes online plus up to 1 hour and ten minutes in-class

Two-year certificate from the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED course prepares students to recognize and respond to a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This course satisfies the CPR and OSHA/workplace requirements for the California Teaching Credential.

This is a blended learning course with an online component and a classroom skill session led by an instructor. After registration is complete, the confirmation email will contain the link to the online course.

Up to 3 hours 30 minutes online plus up to 2 hours 15 minutes in-class

Two-year certificate from the American Red Cross

ASHI ONLINE All Ages CPR/AED certification using Remote Skills Verification.

This class is available  and will remain an option indefinitely. It can be taken online anywhere in the United States. This requires a live video chat session and participant must have equipment. We can ship equipment to you for use for a small fee. Please purchase that additional ticket option. Successful participants will earn a nationally recognized ASHI All Ages CPR/AED certificate. This IS CONSIDERED A HANDS-ON COURSE and meets all employer and other governing body’s guidelines and requirements. The payment for this course is non-refundable.

ASHI’s CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. 

Intended Audience:

Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but who desire, or are required, to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED:

Emergency response teams in business and industry
Adult residential care personnel
Teachers
Parents
Babysitters
